The Farm Bill and Western Agriculture

The OreCal sponsored conference “The Farm Bill and Western Agriculture” was held on May 14th at the University of California Davis. Discussions and presentations included: What the Farm Bill is Likely to Mean for Western Agriculture, The Farm Bill: What it Does and What it Means, The Expanding Role of Risk Management and Crop Insurance Policy, What Changing Federal Dairy Policy Means for Western Dairy and Related Industries, and How Federal Conservation, Energy and Climate Policy Affects Western Agriculture. Presentation slides and photos from the event are available at the conference website. A special thanks goes out to Dan Sumner and other OreCal investigators at UC Davis for hosting an informative and exciting conference!
